The original and still a favorite! Through-hardened, self-sharpening, high-carbon steel blade ensures a precise cut and long-lasting edge. Cuts paper, mat board, cardboard, film, tissue and textiles. Safety features include a patented automatic blade latch that locks with every cutting motion and a finger guard that protects the entire length of the blade. Torsion spring prevents blade from accidentally falling. Permanent 1/2" grid and dual standard and metric rulers ensure proper alignment. Ergonomic soft-grip handle. Heavy-duty 3/4" thick wood base with non-skid rubber feet for extra stability.
